About BASI LFTL GERMANY 2021

Date: October 1-3, 2021 (Friday to Sunday)

Place: Munich (Germering), Stadthalle Germering https://www.stadthalle-germering.de/

Featured presenters: Rael Isacowitz, Andy Vleeming, Samantha Wood, Jessie Lee, Alan Herdman

We are looking forward to host our third  BASI® Learn from the Leaders conference in Germany! In a 3-day frame Rael Isacowitz, Andry Vleeming, Samantha Wood and Jessie Lee will share their knowledge about Pilates and anatomy of the human body. Rael, well known as the founder and director of BASI® Pilates and one of the key presenters in the world will offer two different workshops as well as his famous mat class, whereas Samantha will enrich our knowledge about Pilates in a more physiotherapeutic context. We are especially proud to welcome Andry Vleeming, one of the main international specialists for anatomy, who will give us a deep insight about the human body from a scientific point of view. Jessie Lee has extensive knowledge and experience with Pilates and rehabilitation through her own experience as a dancer with injuries. She teaches people from all walks of life, ranging from elite athletes and dancers to clients with rehabilitation issues and anybody who wishes to improve their health and movement. Alan Herdman studied at the London School of Contemporary Dance and was working as a teacher and dancer when, in the late 1960s, he was invited to New York to learn about the Joseph Pilates Method. There he worked intensively with Carola Trier and Bob Fitzgerald, two instructors who had been trained by Pilates himself.

The BASI Learn from the Leaders will be followed by the Master I program taught by Rael Isacowitz June 29 -July 1, 2020.
